JEE Main 2019 Syllabus

JEE exam syllabus is quite elaborate. To crack JEE Exam 2019, preparations should begin early. Ideally, the training should start from Xth standard itself. So that, students learn to maintain a fine balance between their regular curriculum and JEE syllabus. Board exam versus competitive exam may sound challenging, but smart players find a way to strike the right chord between them. According to experts, a student must devote about 60% time in the preparation of the board exam. This time can be effectively used for solving JEE question papers as well, because of the similarity in the syllabus of both the exams.

Study of JEE question papers in recent times also confirms that, of all the subjects, Chemistry is the toughest one to crack, because, it consists of Twenty Eight topics, which requires more time to prepare. Compared to Chemistry, other subjects are comparatively easier to study, because, they cover fewer topics. In JEE, Mathematics and Physics cover about 16 & 20 topics respectively.

As per the criticality and weightage given to each topic in JEE, it can be said that special attentions are required for Mechanics (Physics) and Algebra (Mathematics). The difficulty level in Physics questions is Medium to high, whereas, for Math & Chemistry, the complexity varies between low to medium.

JEE Preparation Tips 2019

JEE 2019 Preparation tips includes solving test papers, taking as many mock tests as possible, analyzing own strength and weaknesses and practicing round the clock. The syllabus of JEE Main 2019 exam is at par with the 12th class syllabus. However, students are tested on their speed in any competitive exam, hence, strategically thinking and planning in ahead would make one well-prepared compared to their competitors. As we say fruits of labor are always sweet, therefore candidates must be mentally convinced about walking that extra mile to achieve their goals. On an average, a JEE aspirant is expected to study for at least 5 to 6 hours a day. One can prepare a routine which would focus on different chapters from the different subject on monthly basis. This way, students will be aligned with how much syllabus they have covered and much is yet to complete. They can also join some JEE training centers to clear any doubt they might have. It is good to prepare under expert’s supervision, however, there are many who prepare themselves with the help of the books and sheer dedication.
