CBSE 10th Result 2017 – Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will release the CBSE Class 10th Result in the last week of May, 2017 for the students who will appear for the board exam. It is expected that more than 14 lakh candidates will appear in CBSE class 10th exam. The result of class 10th is announced after two months from the exam conducted. How to check CBSE result?
Know the steps to check the result of CBSE 10th result.
Step: 1. To check the result of CBSE 10th, candidates/students have to visit CBSE exam conducting’s official website (cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in or results.nic.in) or go through the direct link provided below.
Step: 2. Enter their Roll Number and Date of Birth in DD/MM/YYYY format.
Step: 3. Print or download the Class 10th Result.
CBSE Class 10th result Stats: Last year, 13,73853 out of 14,99,122 registered students were appeared in CBSE 10th board exam. For class 10, 2.9 lakh students were registered from Delhi and 2.2 lakh were from Panchkula.
Marking scheme of CBSE Result for Class 10th: There are two assessments – Formative and Summative. Only summative assessment will be based on exam marks, with SA1 having been completed under first term, and the final upcoming examinations, board or internal will be assessed as SA2. CBSE Class 10th Final results will be based 60 per cent on summative assessment (SA1 and SA2) and 40 per cent on formative assessment.

Calculation of Overall CCPA (Cumulative Grade Points Average)
CGPA = Sum of Grade points (5 main subjects) / 5
Percentage from CGPA:
Percentage = CGPA x 5
If grade points for the five main subjects of CBST Class 10th student are:
Subject 1= 7
Subject 2 = 8
Subject 3 = 9
Subject 4 = 7
Subject 5 = 8
Step 1: Add the grade points: 7+8+9+8+8 = 40
Step 2: Divide it by 5
40/5 = 8
So, CGPA of the student is 8
And the Percentage from CGPA will be: 8 x 9.5 = 76%
